On our forum we have a feature called a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor. You may have noticed not many other forums have this. Basically it allows you to write posts as if you were writing an email - so for example if you want to write in bold text, you see it happening as you type in real time, rather than having to use traditional BBcode tags like most forums. If you have any issues writing posts on this forum, I recommend turning it off.

By default it is switched ON. However, this feature is NOT compatiable with all browsers!!! If you are unable to type posts, it is because you have WYSIWYG editor switched on and your browser doesn't support it. Internet Explorer and Firefox do support it, I have not tested other browsers. To turn it OFF and continue writing posts in the traditional way:

Click the last button on the right end as shown in the above pic to turn WYSIWYG OFF. It should change from pink to grey/silver to indicate it is switched off. You can now write posts Smile .

Remember, when it is switched off if you want to post images or use formatting you'll need to use BBcode. Below is an example:

Code:

Code:
[b]This text would be bold[/b]
.

For technical reasons, I have now turned this feature OFF by default.

However, if you prefer email-style posting, you can turn it back on yourself. Simply click the button with the two little A's before typing your post. Pink indicates that it is on.
