marked read... could we get that one tuned?
I am needing something in the 'mark read' department.
First of all, I think that it per default will mark read after x amount of time. Let's say I log in, but leave my computer for a while - if I refresh after that, all the new posts will go *poof* and be 'read' even tho I haven't read them.
Second, it would be nice if you could log out with unread topics - and still have them unread when you log on later.
I know it takes tweaking behind the scenes, but we've got that in our danish forum. Threads will ONLY be marked as read if you either read them, or if you manually mark them to appear as read.

Re: marked read... could we get that one tuned?
It's not really an issue for me since the threshold is an hour of online inactivity, I am unlikely to come on and then leave the forum sitting open for an hour but without using it. Also I tick "remember me" when logging on so I never get logged out...if I could increase it I would, but according to the host it causes sever issues and it's incampatiable with our software modifications.
