Private messaging has been disabled on this board

Hi everyone
ive just tried to look in my message box and cant , anyone else having this problem or is it just something im doing wrong ?
im not very good with computers so now im confussed

No it's not you, it's everyone, we have a bit of a problem with someone mis-using the PM system at the moment so have had to turn it offline until it is resolved, shouldn't be long. Sorry about this!!

No Mick you're not doing anything wrong. The facility has been disabled temporarily because spammers are at work. There's an explanation in the forum announcements at the top of the forum. Sorry if it's making things difficult.

sorry maybe thick here but how do you miss use it ?

They have been spamming, sending multiple advertisements through the memberlist. A bit like junk mail through the post, only with even less thought behind it

Can you not ban the culprits?

The trouble is there seems to be some kind of a hate campaign going on and so it is hard really to tell who has been involved.

One person decided to take a disagreement to far, to an abusive level, and as a result has decided to form some kind of pack of wolves to attack the forum. They haven't seen what I have!

I must live in my own little world...... totally oblivious to it all.... untill I was PM'd I did think it was weird that I had a PM from someone I wasn't aware I knew!!

As I said, should be on tomorrow. Again I am sorry but need to reiterate that it is not me that has made your PM access unavailable, but rather the few that chose to misuse it!

We'll all just have to be patient and hopefully the people who have caused this will slink back to their own forum and leave us alone. It shouldn't be long.

was some of the oldest most experienced breeders on here to, maybe they should have known better? :S
